The Beginning of Journey 2

You get up and open a window - your study is feeling hot and stuffy and you need your wits about you to finish reviewing the Board papers before tomorrow's meeting. Much as you hate to think it, you can't imagine what the CEO and CFO could have to say that would make this anything but a worse case situation. The big challenge in the coming weeks will be information control while the Board and Management reach agreement on next steps. So far the banks, shareholders, and advisers are just speculating about your situation, and you have to give them your take at the quarterly update in three weeks time. Tomorrow's Board discussion will be a very significant one for the future of the company, and will require every ounce of your leadership, skill, and experience to keep it moving forward.
