You are back in the empty Boardroom again, but this time the air feels full of potential. For the first time, you had a joint session of the Board and your executive team around the company vision. Although you have invested a small fortune in detailed modelling, you left all of that outside the door and got down to - or up to - what you and the others really thought the business could do if you could break through some of obstacles and restrictions that have slowed you down and even blocked you. Interestingly, as you looked at some of the obstacles from a different angle they almost seemed to melt away - replaced by far more interesting and exciting challenges. You look forward to coming back again tomorrow and picking it up again. How hard it is to imagine that just a few months ago you thought that your business was hopelessly stuck and falling further behind the competition.
